EventR App Questions.

Location sharing is available in the app by tapping the title bar, and then toggling “Share Location”. This shares your location once with the team. Team members can then see this location by selecting the user from the team page, and select “Last Seen Location”. This only works between the itinerary start and end date.

Alternatively you can use the chat, select + and select “Location”. This will add it to the chat.

There are a number of ways of getting users into EventR. Firstly you can use the Team page in the app, and select the bottom right hand button. This will allow you to add by QR Code, URL, or by sending emails. See this video here.

If you are using the EventR Coordinator Hub (ECH) you can set users up in the users section either manually or by CSV. When you are ready, select the tick box next to each of them to send them welcome emails and complete the process.

From the Home screen of the Itinerary in the app, tap on the Plus icon. Tap on activity, then scroll to the bottom. Users can be toggled on and off if they are in the itinerary.

Go to the team page (third tab), expand team and select a team member. Everything they attached to will appear there.

All past information can be found by scrolling to the bottom of your itinerary and tapping show “Past events”. Alternatively it is all visible in the summary view of the same screen.

A Share link is our term for a URL that can be used by others to join the itinerary. If you send this to a group, each member will join up, and then you will find their access request on the Account page in “Access Requests”

Tap on the top area of the itinerary and there is a Show Local Event Time. Toggle it off, and it will show all times in the user’s event local time.

Coordinator Hub Questions.

If you are using the EventR Coordinator Hub (ECH) you can set users up in the users section either manually or by CSV. When you are ready, select the tick box next to each of them to send them welcome emails and complete the process.

Go to the Itinerary you want to hide, and select the Eye will a line through it. This way the Itinerary will not be shown to app users.

Create a template Itinerary with all the details, and save it. Then create a new Itinerary and select “Copy”. You can change the start time and then you will get a duplicate of the itinerary with everything in it.

A guest link can be published to everyone to promote your event. We use them on https://l.softpauer.com/ll to allow users to build trips around the event. We recommend itineraries created in this way should only have activities in them.

To approve join requests you must use the app as an administrator. Go to Account->Access Requests to approve the request.

If the Item is marked as “Private”, only people on that activity/flight etc will see it, along with administrators of the ECH.

Ensure you have:

* Added Users to the itinerary on the Event Information page at the bottom

* Enabled the Itinerary with by selecting the eye icon at the top.

* Press “Update App” – this sends changes to the app from the ECH.

Ensure the user is attached to a flight booking, make sure the flight is not marked as pending, and press Update App after saving.

Make sure the Event’s timezone is set to where the event is happening. That way all times will default to that timezone. You can override any timezone in the ECH by selecting the country and changing it. If the country is in bold, it is not considered to be in the event’s default timezone.

For Enterprise users with sufficient permissions, there should be an “Add cost” button next to each booking.

Enterprise users can use the Administration section to change the permissions granted to each type of user, and create new roles if required.

Change the state to pending and it will not appear. If you need to hide the whole Itinerary you can do this from the Event Information page.
